Hospice-Coffee-PartyThe Golden Girls Bridge Club raised $520 at their Hospice Prince Edward Coffee Party/Bridge Luncheon held at the home of Fran Renoy. The theme of this year’s event is “From Your Home to Ours” in celebration of the new residential hospice home at 40 Downes Ave., Picton.

“This is perfect timing because the residential hospital is scheduled to open in June and even though the cost of the home is paid for, we’ll need to keep it running and have maintenance and hydro bills and other ongoing costs,” said Karen Giraudy, co-chair of the event, with Kathleen Hegedus-Beeksma.
