Community Care highlights services for seniors with social media campaign

Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors launched its new social media focus at The Regent Theatre, Thursday, showing off its new website, Facebook page and video series highlighting the organization and its services.
Anne VanVlack, of Infolink Website Development, unveiled the Community Care’s new website which now easily focuses on the association’s services, upcoming events, Thrift Shop, volunteering opportunities, and much more.
Executive director Debbie MacDonald Moynes notes the association’s mission is to assist older adults in Prince Edward County to live at home with reasonable independence. Its vision is “The freedom and dignity of choice; the comfort of home and a passion for volunteers”.
The Regent Theatre was chosen for the site of the launch to show the association’s new video series on the big screen. Local residents feature in an overall video, along with stories about Meals on Wheels, Recreation and Luncheon Socials, Home Maintenance and Homemaking; Footcare Clinics and Escorted Transportation.
