Through strong community support, new equipment to monitor heart rates and rhythms – at a value of $237,282.39 – has been ordered and will be installed at Picton hospital in June.
Toward the goal of paying for the upgraded telemetry equipment, the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation was pleased to receive $1,000 from the Rotary Club of Wellington this week.
“Our job is to support the medical staff at the hospital by raising donations to pay for the medical equipment and facilities needed to provide a range of health care services to County residents,” said Leo Finnegan, president of the Foundation.
