Construction continues on Loyalist Parkway

The next stage of construction work on Highway 33 (Loyalist Parkway) at Picton begins today between Cold Storage Road and the Millennium Trail.
Barr Construction is installing new storm sewer and associated structures, widening the road for the construction of a new intersection, and installing traffic signals.
Work on the road is to continue until the winter season. Final paving is expected to be completed in the early summer of 2021.
The work means continued traffic disruptions and lane restrictions on Highway 33, but access to businesses and residences in the area is to be maintained at all times.
