Dragons will be hungry for business ideas in Prince Edward County next month.
The popular CBC-TV series Dragons’ Den will include the County for the first time on its 35-city audition tour preparing for upcoming tapings for the 11th season of the series.
Details are under way for a stop at Prince Edward County on Feb. 25 at Books & Company, 289 Picton Main Street, Picton. The next closest stops are at Kingston, Feb. 26 at the Ambassador Hotel and Conference Centre on Princess Street and Oshawa, March 2 at Durham College.
The audition tour welcomes participants of all ages, with businesses at any stage of development. Aspiring entrepreneurs should be prepared to pitch their concept to the Dragons’ Den producers in five minutes or less.
If they show the producers they have what it takes to pitch in the Den, they could be invited to Toronto to face the Dragons.
Prospective pitch makers must first register online with the show at http://castingapp.tv/dragonsden/.
