County has dubious honour of worst road in Ontario – again

For the second time in five years, Prince Edward County has earned the dubious honour of winning the vote for the annual CAA Worst Road in Ontario.
Victoria Road leads the CAA South and Central Ontario region 10 Worst Roads for its potholes and crumbling pavement. Second spot went to Carling Avenue in Ottawa, and third to Barton Street in Hamilton.
County Road 49 landed in fourth place this year – though it had taken the worst road in Ontario spot in 2016. No improvements have yet been made to that road.
In the CAA’s regional breakdown, County Road 49 follows Victoria Road; Queen Street in Kingston ranks third followed by Bridge Street West in Bellevile and Johnson Street in Kinston.
