Community youth that participated and qualified at the Local Aquafina Pitch Hit and Run Competition that took place May 5th in Wellington, travelled this past Saturday to Mississauga to compete at the Sectional Level. Each Sectional is part of a Major League Baseball team’s geographic market. The top three scores in each age and gender group among the Sectional All Around Champions within each MLB geographic market advance to the Team Championships.
Prince Edward County Sectional participants were Ryan Erwin, Cameron Pero, Madison Young, Ben Wells, Nick Kirby, Logan Stark, Jacob Doxtator, Jonathon McHugh and Gavin Ronan. Gavin Ronan and Ben Wells placed an impressive 4th place finish in their age and gender groups.
