County residents honoured with Ontario Volunteer Service Awards

Prince Edward County residents were among the many recipients of this year’s Ontario Volunteer Service Award, given by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration to honour volunteers for continuous years of commitment and dedicated service to an organization. Together, award recipients contributed a combined total of 350 years of volunteerism.
A presentation ceremony was held May 2 in Belleville. Recipients were presented with a stylized trillium service pin acknowledging their years of service and also received a personalized certificate.
