County students win bursaries at Loyalist’s Spring Awards Ceremony

Prince Edward County residents were among 75 Loyalist students honoured at the Spring Awards Reception receiving awards totalling $59,925.
College President Maureen Piercy welcomed the honorees and expressed her pride. “Congratulations on your achievements and we wish you every success in the future,” she said.
Nikita Hine, of Picton, a first year in the Esthetics and Spa Management program, won a CIBC Bursary.
Vanessa Pilon, of Picton, a third year student in Chemical Engineering Technology, received an Aboriginal Post-Secondary Education & Training Bursary.
Chandel Farley, of Wellington, a first year student in Pre-Health Science, received a First Generation Bursary.
