COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Bloomfield Sept. 10 and Picton Sept. 20

People eligible for their first, second, third, or fourth dose can get a vaccination at a clinic in Bloomfield Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Bloomfield Town Hall (289 Bloomfield Main St.)

Limited spaces are available. Making an appointment in advance through the provincial vaccine booking portal is recommended.  You can also call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1.833.943.3900.

Walk-ins will only be accepted if space and vaccine are available.

An additional vaccine clinic is to be held Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 3-6:30 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street, Picton).

As of Sept. 1, children aged five to 11 are able to have first booster doses after the recommended interval of at least six months following their most recent dose.

Ontarians aged 18 and over are eligible to get a second booster dose. Second booster doses are being offered at an interval of five months after an individual receives their first booster dose.

You may choose to receive your second booster dose as early as three months (84 days) after your first booster dose.

If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, you should speak to your health-care provider about the optimal timing for your next dose. If you do not have access to a provider, the health-care professionals at the vaccine clinics will be available to discuss with you.

Eligible individuals can also receive their vaccination at participating local pharmacies, by contacting the pharmacy directly.
