Critical injuries for ATVers whose vehicle hit a tree

A driver and passenger were injured Sunday when their all-terrain vehicle hit a tree.
On Sunday, July 7 just before 8 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police officers at the Prince Edward detachment were called to the scene on County Road 3.
Cst. Karen German, Community Safety Officer, said the 24-year-old female driver and a 71-year-old male passenger were were assisted by Prince Edward Fire and EMS and transported to hospital with critical injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigator (TCI) and Reconstructionist attended to the scene to assist with the continuing investigation.
