Daniel Tiger a star in the library ‘hood

More than 60 people met Daniel Tiger, from the popular children’s television show Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood, at the Picton branch of the County of Prince Edward Public Library and Archives on Thursday.
It was standing room only as families enjoyed stories about being a good neighbour and being yourself, read by the library’s Youth Coordinator Whitney Shantz in the company of Daniel Tiger. Giant Tiger is the sponsor for the Canadian arm of the Daniel Tiger tour, and WPBS TV, The Hub Child & Family Centre and the County of Prince Edward Public Library & Archives partnered to bring the event to the community.
