Diamond Jubilee Award honours Mike Campbell’s contribution to cadets

Major David Wright, Commanding Officer of the Cadet Training Centre in Trenton, presented Major Mike Campbell, of Picton, with a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal honouring his contribution to the Canadian cadet organization. Campbell joined the 851 Prince Edward Squadron cadets in 1986 and achieved the rank the Warrant Officer
1st class in the winter of 1992. With the Cadet Instructors Cadre he has held positions of administration and training officer at 851 Squadron and Commanding Officer. Campbell has also worked for three different summertraining centres in a variety of positions including public affairs, administration, training, and most recently as the Officer Commanding of the General Training Course at the Trenton Air Cadet Summer Training Centre in 2012. After stepping down in Oct 2012 from Command of 851 Prince Edward Squadron he received the appointment of Regional Cadet Advisor for 15 cadets units in the Central Portion of Eastern Ontario.
