Picton Kinsmen members showed their support for I have a photo for you of a donation we made last night to Reaching For Rainbows.
Reaching for Rainbows is a program for public school girls to create a nurturing environment where they are celebrated and encouraged to develop life skills, academic skills and a vision of their own success.
The project is the brain child of Rev. Lynne Donovan, and supported by the congregation at St. Andrew’s Church in Picton.

The Kinsmen helped get the program off the ground three years ago.

“After one year the program was a huge success and we bumped our contribution to $1000,” said Phil St. Jean, Kinsmen president. “This year we donated $1500.
We are proud to be sponsors of this worthwhile cause, helping 22 young girls by giving them a place to learn, grow and have fun.”
