Dragon boat festival brings paddlers to Wellington harbour

The 10th annual Wellington Lions Dragon Boat Festival saw the local teams compete against paddlers from Belleville, Cobourg, Trenton, Brighton, Toronto, Ottawa and Stratford on Saturday at the Wellington Harbour.

Wellington’s is a recreational club for adults of all ages and fitness levels, paddling in West Lake three nights a week and entering local festivals during the summer. Newcomers and experienced paddlers are always welcome. Equipment and coaching is provided.
