Drilling test holes for proposed water tower location in Wellington

Several test holes will be drilled Thursday at the proposed location for the new elevated water tower in Wellingon.
Several test holes are to be drilled at the location near the intersection of Belleville Street and First Street in Wellington.
The drilling is to begin at 9 am and conclude later the same day. Noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the drilling and vibrations may be felt in the area.
The work is not expected to cause traffic disruptions or impact water service.
