Drone training at CFD Mountain View

Members from 2 Wing Bagotville, are to be conducting Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) training activities, at Canadian Forces Detachment (CFD) Mountain View from early morning March 28 to later afternoon March 29.
“This type of training is essential for the execution of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) missions around the world,” states Captain Hrayr Karageozian, 8 Wing Trenton Public Affairs Officer.
Karageozian reminds the public that civilian drones/UAS shall not be flown on or near 8 Wing / CFD Mountain View in accordance with Transport Canada and Department of National Defence safety and security regulations.
