Easter fun for children all over the County on Saturday

Easter fun with the children all over the County on Saturday, April 15. Events include:

PICTON – Easter Egg Hunt at Benson Park hosted by the Picton Firefighters Association. Weather permitting, registration begins at 9 a.m.; hunt starts at 10 a.m. $3 per child. Picton Firefighters Association thanks Picton Home Hardware for donating top prizes which include a wagon and bicycle. Rain date Sunday, April 16 – same place, same time!

MILFORD – Decorate your Easter Bonnet for the Easter Parade at the Milford Branch Library from 10-10:45 a.m. Join in the parade, starting at the Milford Town Hall parking lot (extra treats for participants). At approximately 11:20 the egg hunt at the fairgrounds ball diamond, Loonie hot dogs and hot chocolate at the food booth.

BLOOMFIELD – Join the Junior Farmers for a farm tour and egg hunt at Wilhome Farms, Bloomfield from 10 a.m.

SOPHIASBURGH – Easter Egg Hunt at Centennial Park in Northport. Register between 9:30 to 10:30 for 10:35 a.m. start. $2 admission.

COUNTY LIBRARIES – Meet Easter bunnies from Blackjack’s Rabbit Rescue at the Wellington Branch Library 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., or a lamb at the Picton Branch from 1-2 p.m. and Molly the Reading Pig and Cylas the Bunny at the Ameliasburgh Branch Library 1-2 p.m.
