Elks donation helps fill Storehouse Food Bank Christmas hampers

CHEERS! from the Storehouse Foodbank at Wellington, to the Elks Lodge members who donated $1,500 toward the cost of the Christmas Hampers. Randy Vincent, the Elk’s past exalted ruler, presented the donation to Foodbank Treasurer Bill Mitchell. “Thank you for making such a difference to others in our community.”
Angels are on trees at the Wellington and Consecon Legions for those who wish to buy a child from their community a Christmas gift.
Supporters of the food bank are also welcome to attend the fourth annual Pancake Breakfast With Santa and magic show Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9-11 a.m. at the Rednersville Albury Community Church, 2681 County Road 3, Carrying Place.
Minimum donation $15 per household, and a non-perishable food item. Reservations are required. Contact mrkringle@outlook.com. All receipts are donated to the Storehouse Food Bank.
