Expect delays on Picton Main Wednesday-Thursday

Drivers on Picton’s Main Street should be prepared for minor traffic delays this week as Priestly Demolition Inc. is scheduled to be removing shoring towers as part of the re-development of the Royal Hotel.
A crane will be required during removal, and traffic lanes will be shifted around the site.
Construction is set for Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 7am – 7pm daily.
Street parking in the area may be limited during the work. Access to businesses on Main Street will be maintained at all times.
Construction staff will be available to assist pedestrians on Main Street.

So am I, Marc. Huge thanks to Geg Sorbara for his time, effort and much money for resurrecting this Historic building. If not for Mr. Sorbara, the undeserved neglect that this building has received, it surely would have been bulldozed by now and replaced with another ugly building.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Royal without the shoring towers!
