Expect sounds like gunshots or small explosions in infantry training at Loch Sloy

The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment will be conducting army training at Loch Sloy airfield from Monday, July 9 to Friday, July 20.
Training is to take place at all hours of the day and night. Equipment will be used during training that may simulate gunshots or explosions. Blank ammunition may sound like gunshots.
Training grenades will cause a small explosion and smoke grenades will cause a small amount of smoke.
·The training is being conducted as part of the infantry training required of members of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment to become qualified army reserve infantry soldiers.
Training is well-managed and does not impose any threats for residents, but noise levels may be elevated periodically for the duration.
