Officials at Sandbanks Provincial Park have advised beach-goers to expect a sunny long weekend and line ups for the park – notifying visitors to arrive early, or later in the afternoon as the park may experience closures due to parking capacity.
Friends of Sandbanks notes North Beach at Consecon is a great alternative – reminding guests it has two beaches in one.
North Beach was just fitted with new Mobi-mats to allow people with mobility challenges, or those using strollers, to travel over the sand and closer to the water.
