Expect traffic disruptions heading onto Big Island

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the culvert work on County Road 21 originally scheduled to begin Jan. 28 is expected to start Monday, Feb. 3.
Traffic disruptions are to be expected as the municipality removes and replaces causeway culverts.
The work is expected to continue through Friday, Feb. 7.
One lane on County Road 21 leading to Big Island will remain open at all times. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
