CHEERS! to Prince Edward Hastings MP Daryl Kramp and the Prince Edward Lennox & Addington Community Futures Development Corporation (PELA-CFDC) for helping three organizations gain youth internships.
Kramp and PELA’s Craig Desjardins announced $15,000 funding (each) to the Prince Edward County Arts Council, Picton Business Improvement Association and Crowe Video to help give three interns work experience while helping the businesses increase their production.
“In addition to assisting these businesses and organizations, I am confident this funding will serve to promote the development and integration of our youth into the workplace,” said Kramp.”
Katy McIntyre is with the arts council and will use her skills to encourage arts awareness through social media. Norman Markland is with the Picton BIA and will continue to use his experience in retail, hospitality, marketing, finance and event planning.
