A Final Wings Parade was held at Canadian Forces Station Mountain View Thursday afternoon to celebrate the end of the Glider Pilot Scholarship Course at the Cadet Flying Training Centre.
During the six-week course, 64 cadets were trained in skills necessary to fly a glider, including navigation, meteorology, air law, airplane handling to take with them back to their community, their squadron, and onward into their adult lives.
Approximately 400 cadets were honoured in a final graduation parade of the Cadet Training Centre at 8 Wing Trenton Thursday morning. The parade honours every course graduating at once, to celebrate the end of training for the summer session.
