Fire destroys Rednersville Road bungalow

A bungalow and garage were destroyed by fire early Saturday morning on Rednersville Road, near Taft Road in Carrying Place. District Commander Roger Flower says firefighters found the home fully engulfed after being called to the scene at about 3:50 a.m.
The 20 firefighters from Ameliasburgh and Hillier-Wellington districts secured the scene and had the blaze knocked down in under an hour.
Flower said the home was vacant and no firefighters were injured during the call where heat from the blaze was at intense levels.
