Herc flyover salutes health care workers, moms

Sunday May 9, 2021, from approximately noon to 12:35 p.m. a
CC-130J Hercules aircraft from 436 Transport Squadron, based at 8 Wing Canadian Forces Base Trenton will conduct a training flight and will fly over hospitals in Picton, Belleville, Campbellford, Trenton and Cobourg to show continued support for front line health care workers.
The date for the training flight was chosen to coincide with Mother’s Day.
“Since the beginning of this pandemic, our front line health care workers, many of whom are mothers, have been working around the clock to save lives, while balancing the demands of their family. We owe them a debt of gratitude, today and every day,” said Capt. Marie-Eve Bilodeau, 8 Wing Public Affairs, in a media release.
