Home sales on par with last year

“Sales of all property types are up over 21 per cent, but as normal in the summer markets, sales tend to slow, down and we’re close to par with last July’s residential sales,” said Jamie Troke, president Quinte and District Association of Realtors.
Listing numbers, Troke said, are down for the second month “which indicates it’s still a strong seller’s market.”
He noted sellers should call a realtor to get a current opinion of value.
