Hydro replaces snapped hydro pole following power outage in Bloomfield

Bloomfield and area residents were without power Sunday evening following an incident on Main Street near the Stanley Street exit.
The hydro pole had been snapped. A tow truck arrived on scene to remove a boat which had fallen off a trailer.
Hydro was restored to downtown Bloomfield and just outside in about an hour but outages west from the scene down to Wesley Acres and toward Huff’s corners area were not all restored until after 11 p.m..
Hydro One was on scene quickly with a new pole.
