The weather outside was frightful but the lights will be delightful.
CHEERS! from the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital to Hydro One volunteers who braved torrential rain Saturday afternoon to restring the lights on the trees in front of the hospital.
“Every year these volunteer hospital helpers make our lights shine bright,” said Briar Boyce, the Hospital Foundation’s Communications and Donations Co-ordinator. “We are so grateful and our community is so thankful – noted with the plate of cookies that arrived while the crew was working and the few citizens who stopped to remark and give thanks.
“CHEERS! and thank you to Hydro One volunteers Mark Graham, Steven Smith, Chris Caley, Cody Harrington and Dylan Saylor who gave their time today to make our hospital’s lights shine bright!”
