Income tax volunteers ready to help seniors

The Income Tax volunteers are ready to get to work on completing tax returns for eligible clients. Community Care volunteers will do income tax returns for seniors and people on low income in Prince Edward County
If you are a senior whose single income is $25,000 or lower or whose household income is $35,000 or lower, you may be eligible.
Volunteers are trained by Canada Revenue Agency and will complete Income Tax Returns for eligible clients, but not for: deceased persons; bankrupt individuals; those with more than $1000 investment income; individuals with capital gains/losses; or people with business or rental income/expenses.
There is no charge, donations are accepted. Home visits can be arranged for people who are shut-in.
