Kids of Steel race crew hosts pre-race clinic

More than 250 athletes are expected to participate in the 8th annual County Kids of Steel triathlon Sunday, June 1 at the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre, Picton. Athletes are signing up from Toronto, Peterborough, Kingston and of course the Quinte area. Above, Michelle Pothier, co director of the race hosted a pre race clinic May 18. A second clinic for interested participants, is set for Sunday, May 25th beginning at 10 a.m. to help prepare the kids for the big day. The race crew will host a fun filled review of the importance of the equipment, the transition area, the routes and the finish line. Everybody welcome to this drop-in clinic. at 132638 Loyalist Parkway, Picton. (Same location of the race day)
