Lane restriction on Wellington Main extended June 9-13

JUNE 6 – Lane restrictions on Wellington Main Street between the treatment plants and Cleminson Street are to continue next week.
- The municipality’s contractor, Clearway Construction, is continuing with restoration work on shoulders and street cleanup as well as the placement of top soil in the disturbed area.
- The work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday, June 9 – Friday, June 13.
- One lane will remain open at all times, with traffic controlled by flaggers.
JUNE 3 – Lane restrictions will be in place on Wellington Main Street between the treatment plants and Cleminson Street starting Wednesday, June 4.
The municipality reports its contractor, Clearway Construction, will be completing restoration work on this section of Main Street including shoulders and street cleanup as well as the placement of top soil in the disturbed area.
The work is to take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
One lane will remain open at all times, with traffic controlled by flaggers.
This section officially reopened to through traffic Sunday, June 1. Later this summer, a second layer of asphalt is to be applied to this section of Wellington Main Street when the temperatures are warm enough to allow the product to set correctly. One lane of Wellington Main Street is to remain open at all times during the asphalt installation, with traffic controlled by flaggers.
