Patrons of the LCBO in Picton donated $1,392.50 to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation toward priority medical equipment. The donation brings Picton LCBO’s cumulative giving total to $10,302.48. They will be honoured on the “Patron” level on the hospital’s donor wall.
LCBO staff placed donation boxes at each counter during the month of January to collect funds to assist with the purchase of state-of-the-art medical equipment to treat patients at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
“We sincerely thank all those who contribute and special thanks are reserved to the staff members at the LCBO for encouraging support of our hospital,” said Hazel Lloyst, interim director of development for the PECMH Foundation. “Each year, our County hospital staff treats more than 18,000 people with approximately 1,000 admitted for further care, many for acute medical conditions such as pneumonia and heart attacks. Our goal is to build partnerships in the County with individuals, businesses service organizations and others who will work with us to meet the needs of our fundraising endeavours. We are proud of the LCBO’s ongoing efforts.”
