Registration is required for this event.
Do you play Mah Jongg? Or maybe you would like to learn how to play? Join us.
We have a few Mah Jongg sets and the official North American Mah Jongg cards but if you have a set of your own please bring it along.
Attend weekly or whenever you can.  Come learn, teach, or just play.  All skill levels welcome.

Explore the Stars with Your Library Card
Picton Branch Library – Flex Space

In collaboration with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada,  the Picton Library will have a telescope to borrow for free with your library card.  Join us for a hands-on training session to become eligible to borrow the telescope.  Learn how to use and care for the Seestar S50 smart telescope, and discover tips for stargazing and spotting celestial wonders.

3 pm–4:30pm
Drop into the library after school on Tuesdays for fun new activities each week. Examples include art, podcasting, filmmaking and STEAM projects. Highschoolers and teens 13+ welcome to join

Story times at the library
In addition to the popular Thursday, Friday and Saturday Storytimes at the Picton Branch Library, you can now join us on Thursdays at the Bloomfield Branch and Saturdays at the Wellington Branch, each at 10:30 a.m.  All welcome!

Curious about 3D Printing?
Want to create unique and one-of-a-kind items? Call the Picton Branch and book your time to learn more or to use the 3D printer. We even have a new 3D scanner which makes it easier to replicate existing items. (613) 476-5962

One-on-one tech help 
One-on-one help is available at any branch of the Library or virtually through Zoom or over the phone. Library tech help is friendly, flexible and free, so whether you want to learn about Facebook, the latest in AI, or just want help setting up a new cell phone or tablet, give us a call at (613) 476-5962. Staff  can help with any tech questions and if they don’t know the answer, they will work with you to try to find it.
