While forecasts for April, May and June 2010 call for higher than average seasonal temperatures, combined with lower than seasonal precipitation, County residents were surprise to wake up to a light snowfall Tuesday, April 27.
It’s happened before. On April 28-29 2002, a total of 17 cm fell, as it did on April 15-16, 2007.
Thankfully, Tuesday morning was a bad memory by Wednesday when the temperature reached about 18 degrees.
