The local real estate market continues to show strength in sales as 2015 comes to an end with the average house price at almost $228,000.
Jmie Troke, President of the Quinte and District Association of Realtors, says the value of home sales last month was 27 per cent higher than last year.
“For November 2015, average residential sales is now $227,946, which is almost two per cent highter than last year. It still appears to be a sellers’ market as total active residential listings are still down by 10 per cent over 2014.”
On average, it took 123 days to sell a house in Prince Edward County; 63 days in Belleville, and 53 in Quinte West.
