Marvin celebrates 40th with flowers; donation to hospital auxiliary

Celebrating 40 years in business, Marvin Chapman, of Flowers by Marvin raffled 40 yellow roses, raising $387 for the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Second Time Around Shop.
The shop’s manager, Pamela Strachan, drew Kristina Lickers’ name on the winning ticket, and thanked Chapman for the donation.
Lickers also won a dozen roses for correctly answering one of several of Chapman’s social media trivia questions leading up to the 40th anniversary celebration.
Chapman gave away a dozen roses each day to the first person with correct trivia answers.
Some questions included:

Chapman, staff and customers celebrated the anniversary Saturday with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Steve Ferguson.
