The three candidates for mayor of Prince Edward County introduced themselves to close to 100 people attending the Creative Rural Minds meeting at South in Milford, the former South Marysburgh Public School, that is being renovated into a home, B & B and concert venue.
The mayoral candidates were given five minutes to introduce themselves:
Robert Quaiff
Jeff Goddard
Paul Boyd
Creative Rural Minds is a quarterly networking event designed to stimulate conversation and collaboration in the County. Attendees also heard from the school owners Alysa Hawkins and Jesse Parker, and Honey Pie Hives and Herbals owners Bay Woodyard and Gavin North.
Following the speakers, Creative Rural Minds organizers Krista Dalby and Lenny Epstein officiated a “getting to know you” team building exercise involving the audience and mayor candidates Robert Quaiff and Paul Boyd. Candidate Jeff Goddard had to leave the meeting following the speeches.
