Maypul Lane open for weekend, closed Monday due to turbine construction ‘difficulties’

UPDATE FRIDAY: Maypul Layn will reopen by the end of day on Friday, March 23 and remain open through the weekend.
The road will close again on Monday, March 26 to allow the industrial wind turbine contractor to complete the road repairs.
UPDATE Thursday: Maypul Road remains closed through Friday due to construction difficulties related to the wpd industrial wind turbine project.
Wednesday, a rock drill belonging to the contractor for the industrial wind turbine project got bound up in the ground under the road, and the contractor had to dig out.
The municipality stated Thursday the closure is expected to continue until the end of the day Friday. It was informed Thursday that the contractor requires more time to complete the road repairs
