Mitch Rosborough named Empire B Jr C player of the month

Mitch Rosborough, of the Picton Pirates, has been named the Empire B Jr C player of the month for November.
Coach and GM Ryan Woodward states that:
“Mitch is a leader by example and a player that is dangerous every time he touches the ice,” says Ryan Woodward, Pirates coach and general manager. “He plays the game hard every single night and he displays sportsmanship and respect to all his team mates, coaches and competitors.”
In eight games in November, Mitch scored 7 goals and 8 assists for 15 points and took just 2 minutes in penalties.
“Mitch takes pride in his ability to play in all situations and he has proven himself a threat to score on the penalty kill, scoring 3 shorthanded goals in a 4 game span in November,” said Woodward. “Mitch currently leads our team in scoring with 19 goals 16 assists and 35 points in 21 games. His value to our team and his effect on the outcome of a game cannot be described on a game sheet.”
