Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 750 Prince Edward County Soccer Association (PECSA) players will celebrate their season this weekend.
In alignment with the Ontario Soccer Association’s development program, PECSA is altering its traditional tournament format in favour of an end-of-season festival with every team playing two games. It is called the Gary Parks Annual Soccer Festival in honour of the long-time supporter and founding member.
U5, U9, and U11 teams are to play Saturday, Aug. 6th; U7 teams are to have two games Sunday, Aug. 7th.
In the Ontario Soccer Association’s development program, competitive play starts at the U14 division. The PECSA U14 teams are to participate in a round-robin format tournament on Sunday, Aug. 7th. U18 teams are to hold their final match Friday, Aug. 5th. All games are played at the PECSA Fields – 38 Johnson St, Picton
