Mutt Show awards honour top dogs

Entrants in this year’s Pet Valu Dog and Mutt Show strut their furry stuff for a variety of honours, ribbons and prizes awarded by the Picton Pet Valu store.
This year, the Dexter Gadd Memorial Award was added, in honour of Debbie Gadd’s multiple award winning pup who passed away this year. Dexter won Best in Show in 2014 and 2005 and won Best Trick at least a dozen times.
The inaugural winner was Carmela. She also won Curliest Hair.
The 2015 winners were:
Smallest Dog: Itsy
Biggest Dog: Sonic, who also won Shortest Tail.
Best Trick Performed with Adult: Sonic with Teresa
Oldest Exhibitor: Sonic with Teresa
Longest Ears: Oscar
Longest Tail: Oscar
Shortest Ears: Louie
Most Unusual Looking Dog: Arthur
Best Trick Performed with Child: Eska with Alexis.
Best Dog and Owner Dressed in Theme with Child: Eska with Alexis
Youngest Exhibitor: Eska with Alexis
Best Costumed Dog: Guiness
Best Dog and Owner Dressed in Theme with Adult: Aurora with Ashley and Tyler
