One lane on Wellington Main

Water main repairs are to begin on Wellington Main Street Thursday Nov. 19 at 7am with an expected completion time of 8p.m. but construction may continue Friday morning.
Main Street (between Maple Street and East Street) will be reduced to a single lane of traffic while construction takes place. Traffic control will be in place to direct drivers through the construction zone. Drivers are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
The repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however residents living in the area may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once repairs are complete.
