OPP seek public’s help in investigating fatal crash

DEC 29 – The PEC OPP seeks the public’s assistance in an investigation into a car accident Saturday, Dec. 20 that claimed the life of a 30-year-old Picton man.
At approximately 12:50 a.m., officers of the Prince Edward County detachment responded to the single vehicle crash on County Road 12 at West Lake. The silver Nissan 350Z, two-door had rolled and crashed into a tree. The passenger, 30-year-old Ryan Hennessy, of Picton, died as a result of his injuries. The driver, a 27-year-old Picton man, is in hospital with what is being reported as non-life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting in the ongoing investigation. If anyone observed this vehicle anytime between midnight and the time of the crash or noticed any other suspicious activity on or near County Road 12, they are asked to contact the OPP at 613-476 2151.

DEC 21 – A Picton man has died and another is in hospital following a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
