PECI’s basketball program celebrated its 2016 Senior Night and in the process, made school basketball history.
Following a pre-game ceremony to honour the contributions of nine graduating players, the Panthers trounced the Bayside Red Devils team 45 – 24 in front of a packed gymnasium.
“With the win, the girls ended the regular season with a perfect 10 – 0 record and captured the regular season title,” said Coach Rob Garden. “This is the first time in PECI history that a girls basketball team has gone undefeated.”
The team will spend the next week getting ready for the semi final game Wednesday, Nov. 9th at PECI. Tip off is at 4:30pm.
