Panthers win COSSA baseball gold! Heading to OFSAA

UPDATE: PECI’s baseball team is heading to OFSAA after Tuesday’s COSSA win against Crestwood.
The Boys Baseball East Regionals are set for Wed-Thurs June 1-2 at Aurora and Newmarket fields.
COSSA baseball finals Tuesday begin at 9:30am in Wellington. Game one will be PECI Panthers vs St. Peter’s of Peterborough. Game 2 will be the Crestwood Mustangs vs CHSS Centurions at 12pm. The championship game will be at 3pm in Wellington.
Panthers strike gold in Bay of Quinte baseball
MAY 19 – PECI’s baseball team captured the Bay of Quinte gold medal yesterday in Wellington, defeating Centre Hastings Secondary by the score of 13-3. Max Manlow was the winning pitcher.
The win is the fourth consecutive gold for the Prince Edward Collegiate Institute Panthers and the fifth gold in six years.
The County will host the next round COSSA playoffs Tuesday, May 24th.
Tournament action begins at 9:30 a.m. on Wellington’s Field of Dreams. The final is expected to begin at about 3p.m.
PECI Panther Baseball 2016 lineup includes Gavin Ronan, Dan Seguin, Dryden Norton, Ryan Kelly, Kevin Wilson, Max Manlow, Ryan Rosborough, Matt Dobson, Rusty Strachan, Johnny McHugh and Iain Cameron.
