PEC OPP completing rapid deployment training

Prince Edward OPP officers are conducting rapid deployment training in Prince Edward County today.
The training helps officers respond to active threats in the community and to be better equipped to protect the community.
The public may see an increased police presence.
Rapid deployment teams are designed to bring structure to a crisis as members manage resources for natural, or other types of disasters. The goal is to minimize impact of the disaster.
