The Prince Edward County Quilters Guild presented the MacSteven Dialysis Clinic with comfort quilts for patients. From left, Teresa Sager, Dialysis Clinic charge nurse, Lori Broad, nurse in the dialysis clinic, Gisele Feuiltault, who was in charge of the group making the comfort quilts, Deelia Evans, public relations representative for the PEC Quilters Guild and Sandra Root, nurse in the dialysis clinic. The MacSteven Dialysis Clinic at Picton hospital officially opened in 2002. Patients receive treatment three times a week, for three to five hours. Patients in Prince Edward County no longer have to drive to Belleville or Kingston – they remain closer to home, where they belong. Briar Boyce photo
