PECI Girls Hockey Panthers trounced the Centre Hastings Centurions 7-1 last week in Madoc with a strong offensive rushing from rookie defence Amber Miller whose four goals quickly put the game out of reach. Goals from Brooke Jackson, Abby Terpstra and Sam Ward rounded off the scoring.
Assists were plentiful and many as Celina Fox, Kelli-Anne Maycock, Brittany Payne, Livvy Rideout, and Kassidie Wood provided the support for the scoring. Taylor Snider and Amada Ostrander were outstanding in goal.
The next Panther Girl’s Hockey game is Wednesday Dec. 3 at 3:30pm against the always competitive Tigers in Trenton.
They are home against SPSS Thursday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m.
